My Favorite Christmas Gift

Writer: Felicia EldridgeFelicia Eldridge

All the presents are in, gift cards are tucked in wallets (or spent), and the holiday season is officially ending. Looking back at my gifts from the season I decided what my favorite gift I received this season was. The gift of fashion is always a well-received gift. I usually ask for at least one fashion item every Christmas. From shoes to purses to dresses to coats - I always get something. This year my mom aunt and I went to the Fashion Outlets of Chicago on Black Friday. The fashion outlet always has the cutest and best stuff. This time we stood in line at Tory Burch because everything was 50% off. So, of course, we had to stop by. It was there I found my present. Brown Tory Chelsea boots. The details on it were perfect and so adorable - I instantly fell in love. Chelsea boots are ALWAYS in! They are so cute and perfect in combination with ripped jeans and giving an edge to a dress. Boots are a must for every woman's closet. Boots can be difficult me for me buy as I require wide calf for tall boots. So I own many booties and love them all. Booties are very in right now and are perfect for women who struggle to find tall boots that fit. Chelsea boots are an ideal addition to a bootie collection. It was one of my favorite gifts I received as it can add an edge and new look to tons of my outfits. The boots are super comfortable! They support my ankles and are so easy to walk in. I will be wearing these often with how comfortable they are! After four hours on my feet, I can honestly say I don't feel any pain or rubbing from them! I love them so much! Totally worth the cost!

I rocked my new booties with another Christmas present I absolutely love my leopard print dress. I am a sucker for dresses! I wear dresses more often than jeans. It’s a part of my look. Also with my classes, I usually have to wear business casual, and these type of dresses work perfectly: professional meets casual. The black and brown leopard print looks great with the brown booties. It adds an edge to this more sophisticated dress. It makes the outfit more edgy and playful. This is a perfect example of a fun outfit with Chelsea boots. The black cardigan and dress are both from Forever 21!

The holidays have been great, but I am ready to go back to school. I am a creature of habit and miss having a schedule (and less family time).

I hope you are all enjoying the holiday season!
